Membership Requirements

Who can join?

Any board that meets the following requirements is eligible:

The board must an overall Tolkien theme. It can be discussion-based, RPG, movie-themed, or whatever, but it must be Tolkien overall. (One or two Tolkien themed-forums out of a larger board does not count.)
The board must obey ezboard's Terms of Use (which almost goes without saying).
The board must be family-friendly, containing absolutely no material that would be rated higher than PG-13 in U.S. movie rating terms. (This is Tolkien we are talking about, and there are fans of all ages.) In addition, if you have any forums that are password-protected because they contain "adult content", your board will not be eligible.
The community should be reasonably welcoming of new members. (If you are reading this list, you probably don't need to worry about this one.)
You must link back to the Arda Alliance from your board.

Some technical notes:

We make no distinction based on the size of a board. You could have two members or two thousand. We also make no distinction based on age; boards created yesterday and boards created three years ago are equally eligible.
Free and Gold boards alike are welcome to join. Again, we make no distinction.
Membership By Approval (MBA) boards are fine as long as they are not strict (views restricted) MBA. If there are unusual circumstances that require a board to use strict MBA, there can be exceptions.

How can I join?

First, you should read over our "mission statement" and make sure you agree with it (at least in spirit) since by asking to join you are saying that you agree.

For now, you can make a post at The Seat of Amon Hen to let me know that you are interested. Once we have a few members we will work out better arrangements!
