Request Custom Tengwar

If you would like to know how to make the tengwar for something other than the basics already available on this site, you can contact me and make a request, and I will do my best to help you.

Please include the following information (if you don't, there will be delays):

  • The exact text that you want to have written in tengwar. (It does not have to be English, as long as it uses the same characters as English.)
  • Whether you would like me to duplicate the original spelling or attempt to spell phonetically. (I will only attempt phonetic writing of English text, I will most likely use American English pronunciations, and I can't guarantee authenticity.)
  • If the text is actually in an Elvish language, please specify which languages and/or which tengwar mode you prefer. (For true tengwar afficionados: I can use the mode of Beleriand if you like, but you'll have to specify.)
  • If you want a personal icon, the foreground and background colors you prefer.

You can send the information above to me via ezboard private message. (You will have to register an account if you do not already have one.) If you have trouble registering an ezboard account, you can email me at aranel_ah@yahoo.com, but it will probably take much longer for me to reply! (I have been known to forget to check my email.)

Before you send me a message, double-check your account preferences to make sure you have private messages enabled. I will not hunt you down!

Send Sarah a Private Message!

I am notoriously bad at answering email (and private messages), so if I do not respond within three or four days saying that I received your request, please try again (you don't have to resend all the information, just remind me that you are patiently waiting)!

I will most likely send you the request text in a private message, and upload an image showing what the correct tengwar should look like, so you won't have to receive any email attachments.

All I ask in return is that you give me credit and link to this site. The link page has several banners of various sizes, including a tiny link button that is ideal for unobtrusive credits.
